To Seek Justice,
Love Mercy, &
Walk Humbly
With Your God.
What does God require of you, oh man?
Micah 6:8
Our Story
Into the Light was founded by regular people just like you who were called & moved by God to follow in obedience to Micah 6:8, “What does God require of you, Oh Man? But to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.”
This group of regular people came to understand that children in the United States were being sex trafficked and sexually exploited and that these atrocities were happening to children in the state of Arkansas—in our rural communities, urban neighborhoods, and cities.
Once the reality that the darkness of exploitation was happening all around us, this group of people began seeking the how. How do we end this? How do we connect with victims? How do we bring hope to survivors? This team started on their knees and consistently sought God for His wisdom.

2013
In 2013 God led us to Wellspring Living (an organization that specializes in giving victims of sexual exploitation access to transformative care). Wellspring taught us how to uniquely apply trauma-informed care and principles and utilize strength-based models to serve victims of sex trafficking.
-
2015
In 2015 through a collaborative partnership with Traffick911 and Arkansas Juvenile Detention Centers we began connecting with very high-risk children and youth to educate them on sex trafficking.
Through our work in the Juvenile Detention Centers, victims of sex trafficking were identified which began to result in investigations and prosecutions of traffickers. The identification of victims led to the need for specialized advocacy services for victims of human trafficking.

2016
Into the Light reached out to the experts in this field, Saving Innocence to equip our team on providing effective victim advocacy.
Since 2016 Into The Light has provided wrap-around victim advocacy services to almost 400 survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
Ending child trafficking
is a strategic & ongoing collaboration.
Into the Light works alongside law enforcement, first responders, child welfare agencies, and community partners to shine a light on child sex trafficking in Arkansas. Together, we’re committed to prevention, early identification, and equipping others with the tools they need to recognize and respond to trafficking.
Beyond prevention, our work is deeply rooted in advocacy—offering long-term, trauma-informed support to survivors. We walk with those impacted by the sex industry, building relationships that restore dignity, safety, and hope.
The impact of intervention & advocacy
“I am a beautiful seventeen year old. I am a girl who was raped, sex trafficked and left to die. I am a girl who does not have anybody who loves and cares for her. But you, my Into The Light Advocate, cares. Now I am a woman who survived all these things. I have a voice. I am a survivor, not a victim.”
Survivor
"I never thought I would get away from him. It's hard to believe I get to choose what I want. I will have my GED soon. Then I will get to choose what I want to do next. It's incredible. Thank you! Thank you for all you do to help me really live."
Survivor
"I would never have been able to move away from the bad situation I was in without Into The Light's help. They are the kindest and safest people I've ever known. I have learned better coping skills and started believing in God when I met Into The Light. Once I was hopeless. Now I have hope."
Survivor
We’re committed to ending child sex trafficking—no matter the cost.
By surrounding survivors with compassionate support, resources tailored to their journey, and a vision for their renewed future, we’re walking with them every step of the way toward healing and hope.
If this vision speaks to you, we invite you to take the next step by volunteering or donating to a specific need. Together, we can be a steady presence in the lives of survivors and help light the way forward.
